It's difficult, but i agree with this.
They obviously didn't get the ranking points but should have got the win, because their DQ opponents weren't even eligible to play.

That's a good example, I totally agree with you. I don't know the situation, but it seems the players weren't allowed to play. But they did and they won some matches. They didn't get any points, but the matches took place. That's what I think.

The basic question is whether we want the site to show that this team won those 4 matches?

Nalbandian won his matches regularly, only was disqualified in the final, so of course those matches would stay in ITF profile, he won them in fair way.
Here it's not the same case.

Here stats wouldn't show that this team was disqualified, these wins would count as totaly valid.

In my opinion it makes more sense to give digor/kondrashov the win than giving it to their opponents. Their opponents did absolutely nothing to deserve a win.

But why not use BYEs instead? Just let those teams lose to BYEs in the DB...

Evita wanted to remove BYE wins from the W/L stats anyway... so that won't influence the W/L ratio

Bye is not supposed to have wins.

When someone is disqualified than the other player gets win, that's how it goes in sport.

I think Freddy has a point with Nalbandian's ITF comparison.
