Clijsters won tough match against Golovin in Antwerp

(Antwerp) Kim Clijsters celebrated her No.1 position on the WTA Tour ranking with the fans in Antwerp at last, especially after coming back into the match. Clijsters lost the first set and escaped from a loss in the second set. Tatiana Golovin proved to be a hard opponent to play against tonight. She took the No.1 to three sets. Clijsters is through to the quarterfinals after she defeated Golovin 4-6, 7-6 (4), 7-5. The Belgian will meet Dinara Safina of Russia next in the Proximus Diamond Games quarterfinals.
