Match Statistics 10/01 summary

Top 5
1. Kirilenko, Maria
2. Henin-Hardenne, Justine
3. Clijsters, Kim
4. Ivanovic, Ana
5. Safina, Dinara (still in the top 5, even after her loss, so it was a good first match a guess)

The predicted draw

quarterfinals
Clijsters d Schiavone
Vaidisova d Hantuchova
Henin-Hardenne vs Petrova (no data yet) => ?
Ivanovic d Kuznetsova

semifinals
Clijsters d Vaidisova
Henin-Hardenne/Petrova d Ivanovic

Final
Henin-Hardenne/Petrova d Clijsters

In case you don't know, I'm trying to collect match statistics from 2006 as far as possible. So is it possible to post the match statistics (from the Medibank International) in this topic?

Or to fill in the data collector on my website here

I'm not able to do it, because I live in a totally different time-zone.

Thx!!!

Edit: Thx to someone who posted this link: Live scores and match statistics

The current average match statistics you find here

The current statistic ranking you find here

Top 5
1. Schiavone, Francesca
2. Safina, Dinara
3. Kirilenko, Maria
4. Ivanovic, Ana
5. Henin-Hardenne, Justine

Using the match predictor (see here ) to predict the draw, you get this:

2nd Round
Clijsters (no data yet) vs Li => ?
Schiavone defeat Yan

Schnyder (no data yet) vs Hantuchova => ?
Vaidisova defeat Fedak

Henin-Hardenne defeat Duchevina
Kirilenko vs Petrova (no data yet) => ?

Safina defeat Kuznetsova
Ivanovic vs Mauresmo (no data yet) => ?

This is just from 1 match so this isn't that reliable. It's a good advice to examine these results critical. (You always have to do with statistical information).

So don't abuse these results like saying:
"You see, Martina Hingis is far away off being a top player."
"Schiavone is going to win this tournament."
...
Because this is not possible to conclude!

Better interpretations are:
"Probably, it's going to be a tough match voor Svetlana Kuznetsova."
"It looks like Justine Henin-Hardinne is already in a good shape."
...

I'don't have data from Petrova vs Kirilenko. It's obvious that these data would have a great impact, especially on the statistic ranking.

4. Ivanovic, Ana
