Re: Maria in Estoril

Good win for Makiri. She and Sorana delivered a nice performance today, which is a good way to bounce back from the tough loss on Saturday. Hopefully Makiri can carryover this over to her first round match tomorrow.

Re: Maria in Estoril

Not a bad draw for Maria. She should be able to get the semis with it.

Good luck Maria.

Re: Maria in Estoril

Maria's match has begun. Fichman held for 1-0 1st set at 40-15. Maria just held for 1-1 1st set at 40-15.

The scoreboard has been acting really weird for me today. It keeps switching between today's matches and yesterday's. It's happening with the Rome scoreboard as well.

Re: Maria in Estoril

This girl moonballs a lot and we all know how much Maria can struggle with them. They are frustrating her a little at the moment just missing off a few of them after having to play the extra ball.

Re: Maria in Estoril

Maria now 3-4 1st set as she was broken at love and then Fichman held for 4-3 in a long game. Come on Maria.

Re: Maria in Estoril

Maria is trying to play aggressive but Fichman gets everything back then throws in some moonballs or a drop shot and Maria is screwed. Also she lets out a loud scream when Maria misses sometimes.
