Good draw. But with Venus here she has no chance of winning.

Good luck Maria!

Great chance to get to the SF and then there could be an exciting clash with Szavay.

Re: Hansol Korea Open

A very nice looking draw. If she meets Szavay in the semis it should be a great match!

Re: Hansol Korea Open

I was wondering how Maria would play in Korea after winning in India last week and then taking a long flight from India to Korea. I would think Masha would have been suffering from jet lag for her opening matcth in Korea. But atleast she won. Hopefully she improves her level of play for the rest of the tournament.

Happiness is like a cat. If you try to coax it or call it, it will avoid you. It will never come. But if you pay no attention to it and go about your business, you'll find it rubbing up against your legs and jumping into your lap. - William Bennett

Re: Hansol Korea Open

There's a transcript of an interview by Maria about her first round victory on the offical website: http://www.hansolopen.com/. You need to click on English, and then goto the News section to find it. I couldn't copy and paste nor provide a direct link. Enjoy!

Re: Hansol Korea Open

Seems like Masha had an attitude after the match and during this interview. She got to Korea on Monday and didn't play until late Wednesday afternoon, would seem to be enough time to rest. Maybe she was still jet lagged....
