Question When the heck will Anna play again?

Anyone know anything?

Prayed through the nights
felt so alone
suffered from alienation
carried the weight on my own
Had to be strong
so I believed
and now I know I've succeeded
in finding the place I conceived

According to her official website, she's scheduled to play Key Biscayne next week. If she pulls out, my next best guess is Charleston or Amelia Island. She'll be back soon!!!

Hope that helps

GO ANNA!!!

Anna's ranking will fall to 155 next week. Last year, Anna had 2 match points against Dokic in the semi-finals of San Diego.
Since Anna got injured during her first round doubles match in Moscow last fall, she has one win above a 25K. Nagyova in Melbourne.

Earlier today, some quotes by Anna's agent about a shorter schedule were the lead story on the HOME page, not just the tennis page, of CNNSI.COM and ESPN.COM.
So I read the story on CNNSI, and there's a link to a story about Anna being out to mid-August.
I go to that story, which is dated July 14th, and it's the same exact quotes by Anna's agent.

So a French paper writes up an old story, and because it involves Anna, the U.S. media reprints it like it's an important, breaking story.

The U.S. media loves Anna.

When Anna has been healthy enough to play in the past two years, one of the major problems she's had is holding serve.
I think the purpose of those statements by Anna's agent is to let people know that Anna will always be wary of her back.
I think this means she will never serve as hard as she can anymore.
And holding her serve against the top players will be tough to do the rest of Anna's career.

I hope Anna doesn't retire. Or isn't force to retire because of that back.

But of course ESPN's Page 2 already are making decisions on what she should do if she does retire.

If this idiot thinks Anna is so broke she has to work as a waitress, how can such a jackass get work at ESPN.

They always pick on Anna as an easy way out. How creative do you have to be, to be critical on the same thing over and over again.
