INDIAN WELLS, California (Reuters) - Three-time grand slam champion Jennifer Capriati is trying out her younger brother, Steven, as her coach this week.
The 26-year-old, who defeated Italy's Antonella Serra Zanetti 6-4 6-2 to reach the third round of the $2.1 million Pacific Life Open on Thursday, said that she wanted to keep things fresh.
Steven, who has served as her hitting partner in the past, is coaching and practicing with Jennifer this week while her father and regular coach Stefano is at home in Florida.
"Steven is very relaxed person and it's about keeping things moving," Capriati said.
"I think change is good. Things can get stale."
Steven played college tennis at Arizona State University
