hmmmm....March, 29th?

"We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls"

Ok,

Let me try to share what I had in mind! As always I am looking for a way to celebrate Jennifer's Birthday, and in such moment it would be nice to do something special for our Champion!
I had two ideas, and would like to share it with all of you.

One. Lets run Open Vote to create "Our favorite Capriati recipes!". Here everyone can submit her/his favorite food recipes, and after voting lets select our own "Favorite Capriati Recipe!", and now we can prepare it on March 29 in World-Wide Birthday celebration!

Two. "Best idea for ESPN Special about Jennifer Capriati Fans!" OK, here we call for all fans out there - please write in under 300 words your ideas for TV program! You write it, we read it, we vote, and we send best ones to ESPN/Eurosport to give them idea for such TV program! Hey, if it is good and they like it - you never know, we might end up on your TV program

Anybody maybe have any other ideas on how to celebrate March 29?

Well, we don't get Eurosport (unless you have dish) here in US, and you don't have ESPN. But this should not be a problem as we can tape it and share it, I am sure we can arrange it.

But idea itself was - to create maybe 30 minutes segment about facinating world of fans who spend countless hours on the Net following their favorites, collect photos, articles, latest news, etc etc etc. And about fans whose life was affected by their favorites. For example, I know many people who went through rough times, and some of them basically survived because of Jennifer!

I personally like first idea , although keep thinking about second one for second year now

Cheers,
Eugene

OK, do you have your favorite food? Do you have steps to cook it? That description of what to cook and how to cook is called - recipe.
Now, idea was to see what kind of food you like, select one which is most common for all of us, or one which will get most votes, and from that day we will call it - "Our favorite Jennifer's food" or something like that. So, maybe on Jennifer's birthday everyone at home will try to cook it! I personally like to cook, and it would be fun to cook something related to Jennifer, and also to know that many people doing the same on the same day : -)

Am I catching coo-coo? (Am I crazy?) or this make some sense?

Quick meal

Here is something I like :

INGREDIENTS
4 boneless pork loin chops, cut 3/4 inch thick
1 tablespoon herb-pepper seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 large sweet potato
asparagus (fresh or caned)

DIRECTIONS

1. Sprinkle both sides of meat with 2 teaspoons of the herb-pepper seasoning. In a large skillet cook chops in 1 tablespoon of the olive oil for 5 minutes. Turn chops. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes more or until juices run clear.

2. Bake sweet potato for about 25-35 minutes, serve hot.
3. Cook asparagus for about 10 minutes (steemed), or hit caned one.

Before serving meal, martini is a great idea.
Dinner can be served with Merlo.

Well, nobody came up with any ideas, so this thread will be self-destroyed in 4 hours ( 5:00 pm EST).

Kind of sad

Not selfdistroyed!!!

Maybe we found an other idea for Jenn's birthday. Maybe what about a Chat only for Capriati-Fans on 29 March? Is that something?

Steve

P.S. Goshka, please be not upset, ok?
