VBN, where's my prezzie?

I thought you scored another Jen/Matthew Perry pic! Please tell me you did!!!

What is with all the trash talk about Jen in GM? These people are out of control. Did you read the thread about Jen flipping Serena the bird. I thought it was an April fool's day prank.

I don't understand why people cannot be happy. As far as I am concerned this whole year has been incredible. All the top players have been doing well (except for Lindsay and Justine). Jen wins the Aussie, Hingis has a couple titles, as well as Serena and Venus and Monica has won more matches than anyone on tour. It has been really exciting. Okay i am blabbing. Now where is my prezzie?

There's been increasing hatred towards Jen, she was liked on this board until the complaining about Monicas grunting thing I think. (not entirely sure as I wasn't there).

But it's always worse after a tournament finishes. It was quite bad after Scottsdale if you remember, I'm not sure why it's worse.

What is not helping is the threads that are pro-Jen but inviting haters to enter - maybe we should discuess those sort of topics in Jens Den to limit the bashing. Sad fact, I know.

It's her on-court behaviour that people object to. there are so VERY VERY uptight people out there that don't mind it when male players do it, but when Jen it are outraged.

Jens is feisty competitor who will swear and shout a bit. But they can't accept it, preferring to whine and bitch and bash about her. It's really depressing, I don't feel like coming onto the board much. But it's either that or revision, so I find myself on here all the time

The picture is at the bottome of "Another good news" thread.

Oh, and what's "flipping the bird" - I was reading that thread, and had absolutely no idea what they were talking about. I've never heard that phrase before in my life

I got the lowdown on this whole Matt Perry/Jen thing. They are NOT dating. My brother-in-law works on Friends sometimes and he heard Matt yesterday talking about the girl he was dating...a Playboy playmate. Jen was right, they are just "Friends"...sorry, I couldn't help it
and looks like there will be no more Jen & Matt pics ... unless tratree is some kinda Jen connection person trying to cover their tracks

VBN, flipping the bird is an American phrase for giving someone the middle finger = f*ck you.

Yes I think all this anger has a lot to do with Jen being number 1. I love her outbursts oncourt. I think it takes tennis that much further out of the country club realm and back into mainstream sports. When she freaked out in Australia I found it very entertaining. I was always a Connors/Nastase/McEnroe fan as well!

I am going to go check out the pic of Steven.

Yes this board is getting depressing. Who cares if Jen said Monica's grunting was too loud. That was 8 months ago. Get over it.

I love the outbursts - judging from some of the tennis books - she seems to have always done it...something like a 1991 tournament and an umpire gave Jen a bad call and when he overuled a later call in her favour she sarcastically said "oh! well done".

They're more angry now but they make me laugh - part of the entertainment of the whole match, makes it more interesting trying to work out what she's saying, although whe she stands as close to the mic as she did in Aus kinda ruins that game

Number 1, the fact she's probably the only legitimate threat to the Williams Sisters - but yet, doesn't have THAT good a record against them ... probably contributes. It's as if they need a high profiled hate figure, they feel sorry for Martina and Anna K now, so Jen fills the gap.

The middle finger - omg! lol - how pathetic, AND would she do that if there were cameras....I don't think so.
