Interestingly Martina sounds reserved and really genuine. Surprisingly Evert comes across as not so subtle and bit too full of herself. The "I had sex with Andy in your bed" part is over the top.

Its all in the editing with these things. It does not have to be intentional or especially Machiavellian. The way a long piece like this is edited will leave some sort of aftertaste in the viewer that is as likely unintentional and subjective as not. A single tidbit left on the cutting room floor might have reversed this impression.

The piece last an hour that is long enough to get your personality across. The point is Martina has always been portrait as the bad guy and Chris was always the good guy.

That started maybe half a year after her defection, people sort of got brainwashed especially in the US it paid off, all the endorsements went to Chris more so after Martina came out.

Of course it is not so black and white Chris is not a saint and Martina is not a villain. So for a lot of people this documentary is not a surprise.

Martina can talk a lot but she knows when to keep her mouth shut,
Chris already talked about the bed in the book the Rivals, while Martina always stayed silence about it.
