Angry 16 Player Qualifying Draws

I'm annoyed that not only this tournament but other tournaments in Asia such as Kolkata, Tashkent and Guangzhou only have a 16 player qualifying draw.

These 16 player qualifying draws usually have very low cutoffs because most players don't want to risk turning up only to find out that they didn't make the cutoff.

I don't understand why they can't have 32 player draws especially the one in Guangzhou. It'd help the local players tremendously in gaining WTA exposure if they got in, or any other player wanting experience playing WTA qualifying.

What annoys me more is that it's only these 4 tourneys on the WTA calendar with 16 player qualifying draws.

What do you guys think?
