I love USA Network

I just have always enjoyed USA Network's tennis coverage of the U.S. Open. Does any agree/disagree?

I hate all of the commentators except Jim Courier, John McEnroe and Bill Macatee(sp?). Tracy Austin, Ted Robinson, Al Trautwig and Michael Barkan(sp?) should go shove it.

Go Ai, Venus, Na, Tamarine!

Yeah I don't like Ted Robinson, and Michael Barkan wasn't too smart making that comment about Serena's opponent today was he (Serena's earings being worth more than her opponent's career earnings). But, Cliff Drysdale, Patrick McEnroe and Brad Gilbert are annoying as hell. It's nice to have a break from them, and USA is very organized and I like Bill Macatee and Al Trautwig. I just like how they have things setup more than ESPN.

I love USA coverage; everything about it is fantastic and the mix of commentators is great. By the way, what's wrong with the Serena earring comment compared against her opponent's earnings. I think that's a clever way to sum up the difference between the two and their respective careers. I'm not going to check, but I doubt the girl from Taiwan has earned more than $40,000.

I wish they wouldn't cut out of matches so much for another match. Esp. if I wanted to tape a match, I might end up having another match, or cut outs all the time.

Their coverage is amazing. They show so many exciting matches on side courts of non-Americans! They also don't over-load the live coverage with commercials, ala ESPN, or with tape delayed crap, ala NBC. No other channel would have shown Monfils vs. Djokovic today!

They take the viewer to the most exciting matches going on, even if that means they leave a boring match on Ashe stadium temporarily. What's wrong with that? It makes sense.

What I meant was that they would leave a good WOMENS match to show an American MENS match, even if it wasn't that great match. That's my problem.

Yes it's true, I understand what you mean about not taping matches...like I can't tape Venus or Serena's early matches, because they jump to other courts. BUT, that's why I love USA Network. I enjoy seeing a variety of matches early on in a tourney. And like Leo said, no other network would have shown Monfils vs. Djokovic and for the length of time they did. I can still get good matches of the sisters laters. I'm just happy to have seen pretty much all players I've wanted to. Sometimes top 20 players lose real early, and on ESPN we would never see them in a Grand Slam, but on USA they cover all tracks.

And, yes, I like that USA doesn't show tape delays and they don't replay matches they already showed earlier in the day like ESPN, rather they remain live and show as many matches as possible.

USA Networks is so much fun! They don't go to the desk that much as with ESPN... it's always... and we are going to take you to court # ______.

It is definitley the better than ESPN, NBC or CBS. Ted Robinson and Michael Barkann used to be good, they have gotten progressivley worse. I think their success has been getting to their heads. Tracy Austin is OK, her voice is just annoying. I hate Macatee and Trautwig. Courier and McEnroe are definitley the best.
