Japanese MD Cheering! Sugiyama, Asagoe, Fujiwara!

Go Ai! She has a very good draw! She was lucky to get a seeding and she has Henin-Hardenne as her high seed in the portion of the draw. In the first round she has Kostanic and then a bunch of Q/LLs. She has a great shot at advancing far! She has beaten Henin-Hardenne the last time they played and Henin-Hardenne with no-doubt be rusty! GO Ai! Good luck in doubles with Daniela!!

Shinobu has a good draw as well! She plays Wozniak in the first round...Shino shooooouuulldd win that easily...then she plays Hantuchova who she has beaten everytime they've played...2 or 3 times...The probably myskina who Shino beat on lcay in the US this year! GO Shinobu! GOod luck in doubles with Garbin!

Rika once again qualifies for a big hardcourt tournament! She isn't placed in the draw yet but there are some definite easy spots...or easier spots in the draw. She has a good chance at advancing a round or two! She's also in the doubles with Muller! GO Rika!

Go Ai, Venus, Na, Tamarine!

Good start for the Japanese! 2-0! An awkward 3-set win for Ai, that she did very well to finish off in the third and a solid/confident straight-sets win for Shino. Now Rika plays tomorrow against Camerin, a verry winnable match. I expect Rika to win tomorrow!

Go Ai, Venus, Na, Tamarine!
