I have to say that without Lindsay (perhaps), Serena, Masha and Henin ...
all the players in the field are really beatable by the Mary who was on court in June and July ... !
I hope she will be at least as good as she was during the French and Wimbledon, even if it's not a Grand Chelem !
She'll be the most American player too in the top 8 (if Davenport choses to have rest), so she will have the crowd for her maybe, she's really popular all over the world (remember her match against Masha in Rome, it was awesome !)
Good luck Mary, play your best, with fun, without thinking too much that you have a great opportunity ! Just stay on fire
"I felt very strongly that it was not the right time for me to retire, and there were still some great things for me to accomplish in tennis. So once that really clicked inside of me and I realised that, I just started to work very hard, and to try to be the best that I could possibly be."
