Senior member?

Why some posters, like Daniel, who joined after me, have their own custom member?

Thanks

I'd like to know this too...although I got the impression you have to ask if you want it changed. I was thinking 'Not banned yet' would suit me. Thanks.

In the old days of the board, the users could ask or have offered a custom user tittle. This is why some of the first members has one. However, now that the board has thousands of members, we can’t do this anymore.

Well Kanji, you registered in March 2003, and you've got a custom user title...!

The board already had thousands of members back then...

Hmmm still! Lucyfer registered BEFORE Daniel registered and yet, he doesn't have a title, while Daniel does.
Oh and look at this poster: http://www.wtaworld.com/showpost.php...17&postcount=4
He's "Poetic at heart" although he registered in 2002.

Could you explain this please?

About Lucyfer and Daniel, as I said, people could get a user tittle if they ask for it or sometimes they were offered one. That means that Daniel may have asked for it or had one offered by an admin a while ago when Lucyfer didn’t.

As for M2K, the board has been launched in September 2001 if I am right, then I guess we can consider January 2002 as still the beginning of it. I can’t give you a specific date when administrators stopped giving custom user tittle. What I tell you is we used to do it, but we don’t anymore for the reason stated previously.

I remember ppl asking for them a long time ago and we then got the reply "only ppl who registered before august 2001 (I think it was august) get one".

I guess the ones who were popular with the admins just got one

the board was launched sometime in april 2001 and people who joined in those early months, before sanex crashed, were "awarded" a title or had the opportunity to ask for one.

the others basically just kissed some admin butt

Yes, Maeike is correct.

It comes down to either registering before Sanex went down or to pure favorism!

It's all in this thread ---> http://www.wtaworld.com/showthread.php?t=27967

You are so totally hired again.
