Your postcount just goes up every time you post automatically. It could be even higher than your 2000+ since it goes down when threads you posted in get deleted.

Credits were used long ago in vBookie, which no longer exists because the WTA complained about us gambling with fake money (don't get me started). But the credits still exist and go up each time you post and do other vague things.

Thank you much for your informative and kind reply.

No worries. Good luck with resolving everything.

Oh great. My favourite poster is back. Remind me not to enter any Sabine threads over the coming weeks.

Re: Honest questions on MODS/BANNING/FAVORITISM

cehowardrx7 - The mods are human, (Most of them anyway. The Cylons look like us now. ) so maybe there will be bias. However, I've been posting a long time here, been banned multiple times, and I'd have to say they've always seemed fair to me.

At least once, when I objected being banned, I got a reasoned explanation for the ban, and it was rescinded, once I explained my rationale.

Your experience has clearly been unfortunate, but I would have to say that, in the main, this is a well moderated forum. Especially given that people on this forum grow ... quite impassioned.

Not blind. Not uninformed. We are party to atrocities. But the response of the world after 9/11 is worth noting. Even our most dire enemies offered aid. We should all be so lucky.

I'm really surprised to hear you've been banned before. I've always seen you as one of the more thoughtful posters on this board.

Re: Honest questions on MODS/BANNING/FAVORITISM

You will find the policy on the issue here:

POLICY Multiple accounts from the same household

Permission for more accounts in one household needs to be gained prior to starting another account and will be decided on a case by case basis.

James, if I create a new account and I tell you it is my sister. How I can prove that we are two different people?

You will have to gain permission before starting the new account. It is hard to prove mostly, so it largely depends on trust of the original poster involved.

Site Rules / FAQ is the very first forum on TF page. It's hard to miss. When you enter it, you will see many threads with "Important" sticker stuck on the top of the forum. If you scroll down a bit, you should notice a thread called "POLICY Multiple accounts from the same household".

When someone signs up for a forum, it's their responsibility to familiarise themselves with the rules of that forum. In the case of TF, the rules are clearly posted in the Site Rules / FAQ section. However, most members do not pay any attention to that section.

Hope you can get this resolved, so you and your brother can both post here.

Thank you, that was one of the main points of my post.

No, because I was UNAWARE of that rule. In addition, shouldn't I been made aware of what I was doing wrong? I in hindsight, I should have read the fine print, but how many of us know all the little knick nats of rules? IMO, a question could have been asked.. Not only that, I am in several skydive, bicycle, cell phone forums, and a lot of people in my household belong to the same forums, no problem whotsoever.

Now, I am aware, and my brother wants no part of this, he said he has seen enough, and was glad he didn't chunk out for membership either. But, he is finished. He figured if he was going to get banned, at least he could had the option of explaining.

Who reads the million pages of rules and regulations on a free site anyway?
