Is qualifying open to the public or not?

Just curious. This is from an article on the official website:

"The distinct difference is the relaxed, 'garden party' atmosphere that prevails. This could have something to do with the fact that the event is not open to the public, with onlookers mainly comprising members of the club or staff."

Thanks. Although I wonder why they have wrong information on their website.

I went to qualies in 2002 and there was hardly anyone there spectating it was great! I'm moving into a flat in Putney in August so I'll be nice and handy for the qualies next year .

lol, complete opposite from the nasdaq. the grounds were packed during qualies this year, i was really surprised (and it's $11 if you include the toll on the bridge and parking along with a $5 ticket).

ugh, why do they all suck????????

they dont have the qualies at the grounds, cos of the grass courts, plus Wimby being a LOT snobbish as well
