Wow I'd forgotten how many times Martina had won it! Does anyone know why it wasn't held in 73 and 77?

In 1977 the tournament was "replaced" by the Fed Cup, which was held at Devonshire Park, the venue for Eastbourne, the week before Wimbledon. As for '73, I don't know why.
