Davenport is just standing there...

It's so annoying! I'm watching the match on Belgium tv and they keep talking about "how great kim plays" and "how she works on Lindsay" I mean, in the first set Lindsay didn't even do something out there. I knew she had some difficulties with the running and reacting thing.. but this is outrageous.. Come on DAVEY!

Well, Kim's making her pay for it. Kim won the first set 6-1.

I wanted Kim to have a match in which she really needed to WORK. But I'm afraid it won't happen in this match... 3-1 Kim in second set.

2000-2007: My "Kim years". My best years as a tennis fan. A few bitter losses but a lot of great matches and great wins. Thank you, Kim Clijsters!
26.03.2009: More Kim years to come!

Ofcourse she's making her pay of it! I mean it's a grandslam right and Kim is a great player... but this isn't the way the number one of the world (even if she's bad on gravel) should be beaten up by Kim

I've hoped that Linds would put a lot into the match ....

But it looks she gave up after *3-1 in 1 st set. Babsi Schett on EuSp(co-comm) was predicting this pathway and is now dissappointed that Linds doesn't fight for the points )

come on Linds, hang in !

Lindsay is such a fighter that she will walk off the court with two bread sticks!

This French Open sucks... I mean 4th round is also between Karatantancheva and Gagliardi... What does that suppose to mean? I hate it!

Yeah, Babsi Schett is criticizing Daveys motivation as well("She isn't even moving") and said that a number one should at least try to win, Schett: "She knew befor the match that she won't win and seems not really be keen on fighting"
Well, I guess she is right....I really like Lindsay, but a true number one SHOULD fight!!!!

well, kim normally steps off the pedal if she wins the first set. davey could get lucky and win a few more games.

The saddest thing is that Davenport's complete lack of effort was totally predictable

Her attitude is really disgraceful. And it's not as if this is a one-off. She does it all the time! I can't wait for the lazy bitch to retire.

I don't think Lindsay came into Paris with the mental attitude of being able to win the tournament, much less against Kim.

Lindsay is another who will likely never win a Grand Slam singles title again. Not because she isn't a good enough player, but she gets too down on herself.
