Katarina Misic to retire

Following her loss at Herceg Novi challanger Katarina Misic announced that her career is effectively over. She may play just a few tournaments in Serbia, and doubles with Zaric a few more times, but basically this is it. She is in a very bad slump - down to #808 in the world, and she's not that young anymore. Shell probably work as a coach.
She was once ranked inside top 230 and her last title was Tbilisi 25K in 2002. She has beaten some solid players, like Schaul, Kleinova, Habsudova, Diaz Oliva,Prusova but was never consistent enough to make a bigger breakthrough. She had a few good results in doubles with Zaric. She was a part of Fed Cup team since 1995.
