Wild Cards

I am assuming one will go to Mikaelian, and maybe the other to Bascinsky? Anyone else have ideas?

i think Bacsinsky, who is showing a lot of promise, should obviously get a maindraw WC ahead of Mikaelian... there isn't any WTA rule preventing a 15-year old from having a maindraw WC, is there?

Myriam Casanova will not play before spring 2005, so no wild-card for her!
Timea Bacsinszky has got only a wild-card for the Qalifying-Draw!
I think so, the wild-cards are for Emmanuelle Gagliardi et Marie-Gaiané Mikaelian!

what surgery? no, she's just very unhappy about her physical condition right now, she's had problems with the shoulder and the back, plus there's still the weight issue. she wants to work on those things before coming back.

it'd be a bad idea to give timea a main draw WC, she'd be eaten alive.
i fear the same goes for marie-gaïané right now. maybe she should be playing qualifying as well - the main draw will be so strong.

Yes, Bacszinsky is much more likely to be able to earn points in the qualie draw, it's a good decision. I see one going to Gagliardi and the other to a non-Swiss.

Are you gonna go, Beat?
