Adrian, do you know how the system works?

Italy just beat the USA 2-0. They're currently playing the doubles, I think.

What if Italy-USA is 2-1. What if USA beats Belgium 2-1. We already know Belgium beat Italy 2-1. What if Italy and Belgium both beat France.
Who'll get to the final?
If say Belgium loses to France but beats the USA and Italy beats the French...who'll get to the final then? Belgium or Italy? Both would have two wins in that case. But Belgium beat Italy? Is the number of matches won that'll decide?

Everything you do continues long after you've gone

I want to know aswell

I think it's the number of matches won that counts cos the USA and Italy both have the same points but the USA is ranked before Italy cos they won more matches.

They have a count back of sets to decide.

Group A is very close.

Group b, is already down to 2 teams, Spain and Australia
Standings at the moment

1.Belgium 1-0
2.Italy 1-1
3.USA 1-1
4.France 0-1
Group b
1.Spain 2-0
2.Australia 2-0
3.Argentina 0-2 (cannot qualify)
4.Switzerland 0-2 (cannot qualify)

Believe it or not at this moment Italy is in the box seat to take group a.

Matches to come
Belgium v France
Australia v Spain
USA v Belgium
France v Italy
At this stage, it is too close to call, but I'd like to be spain and Italy

how is Italy in the box seat when Belgium have two ties to play and are undefeated!

I can see how you think that but its not the case.

The winner of Spain vs Australia gets into one final. I'm hoping Australia can do this although it doesn't look good with Hewitt not well
