6-6 0n serve.

Paola wins 1st set 7-6 in a tiebreak.

The "live scoring" didn't give the tiebreak score.

It was 7 points to 1

Molik is playing very well at all, too defensive, she was up 4-2 and then just lost it!

Suarez is winning more points on her second serve than her first serve. Molik's groundies really aren't working for her today. I suspect suarez will clean up in the 2nd set

I hope I can eat my words! Maybe Molik is finally getting her returns in!

Suarez wasn't doing anything special, Molik was just making it too easy for her, all she was having to do was hit the ball in.

Good comeback from Alicia.

Another break in the final game, plus some good holding to win set two 6-3.

AUSBOY thanx for the description. Can you report the rest? I have to get some sleep.

not watching the match anymore Xan, sorry. Only got to see the first set as it was in my lunch break at work hehe.

Molik is obviously returning serve heaps better as well as maybe coming to the net more as well which she hardly did at all in the first set

I wouldnt say that she played great tennis, but she certainly displayed some fine form at times...I didnt see the second set but watched the 1st and 3rd sets. Alicia just needs to work on her consistency and one thing she needs to do is learn to hit more winners because she has the shots! She has the makings of a player that can dictate points, but funnily enough Paola was dictating a lot of the play. Anyway, I agree with the fact that she will have a great year, she definately has improved her strokes the past 12 months She wins a LOT of points off that serve of hers, but just needs to be patient and learn to structure her shots better

I'm very happy for Paola! As she is is my 4th favorite player overall, I was going for her, but this being a teams event, (and me being Aussie ) I'd like to see Australia win ( but its really hard for me to cheer for Hewitt ).

Ah what the hell! Go both teams!

The mixed doubles match has to be decided by the super tie-break again!! Argentina got the 1st set 7-5, but Australia fought back in the 2nd set, winning 6-3!!! But then the ABC channel stopped the TV coverage!!!

Anyone got the final result already?

Always giving my 100% support to Jennifer Capriati, my awesome J-CAP!!!
