Or it could be a newbie like Luxembourg - Anne Kremer and Giles Muller (top junior), Belarus - Max Mirnyi and Tatiana Poutchek, India - Leander Paes (or Mahesh Bhupathi) and Nirupama Vaidyanathan, Croatia - Ivan Ljubicic and Mirjana Lucic, or Morocco - Karim Alami (or Younes El Aynaoui or Hicham Arazi) and Bahia Mouhtassine.
Plenty of possibilities, really, but it'll most likely be a team that is lower ranked than Italy IMHO.
