Tati's next tournament in scheduled for The Qatar Telecom German Open held in Berlin, Germany. This Tier I is held outside on Red Clay
I think it's good scheduling, having a 3 week rest from her great performances at Amelia Island and Charleston, but will have to play a few Fed Cup matches, which will keep her rhythm going.
This is Tati's 2nd visit to Berlin, her last appearance was 2004 as a qualifier inwhich she qualified for the MD but was knocked out in the 1st round by Eleni DANIILIDOU
The great thing is, because of that nasty injury to her ankle she suffered at Miami, Tati has no points to defend until Wimbledon. Even so, she only has a 2nd round (38 points) to defend at Wimbledon. So doesn't have anything major to defend until Stanford, in late July. That means she can whore up the points of two grand slams!
Let's hope she gets a nice draw and goes far.
