Tati in Stanford

Here is Tati's half of the draw in LA:

6 Sugiyama vs. Peschke
Golovin vs. Bondarenko, A.
Qualifier vs. Mirza
4 Groenefeld vs. Bye

5 Hantuchova vs. Qualifier
Craybas vs. Rubin
Dulko vs. Qualifier
2. Schnyder vs. Bye

Pretty solid draw. Sugiyama is a tough player but not some one to be feared. Lets hope Tati makes her charge in this tournament.

A decent draw but she could get through. Good luck Tatiana!

In my opinion

def. Bondarenko 3-6 6-2 6-3
def. Sugiyama 6-4 6-3
def. ALG 6-3 5-7 7-5
lost to Hantuchova 3-6 6-1 2-6

GO TATI!!! Have a stunnig hard court season!

i like the title of the thread i started more.

this is probably the best possible draw that tati could have gotten. the last directly accepted player in the 1st. then it could be sugiyama and groenefeld compared to the other possible players. hoping last week was really due to jet lag!

I saw her Fed Cup matches. She was really solid. Especially against Lucie. Her serve and her forehand were wicked. I think she can do well here. Her draw is really really good. Allez Tati. Don't screw this one.

Great draw!!! But let's go one step at a time, cos we know Tati's inconsistent as hell... And she has already lost against Bondareko (last years Wimbledon).

Allez Tati!!!

It was another surface there and another Tati. She can beat her when she will play focused. Good Tati!

Yeah I didn't see that you had already made a thread in till today.

Anyway I expect Tati to do well in Stanford. If not then it is time to start worrying.

She lost to Alona @ Wimbledon. But that was when she was injured and, Tati always plays GS even though she breaks her leg or something.

I saw both her match against Diaz-Oliva off the first round and the two matches @ Fed Cup, and I could see that Tati was starting to hit much better.

I know I might have my hope high , but it seems to me, she can at least reach SF or MORE. But then again, with Tati, it's a rollercoaster ride.

She just won 7-5 6-2

But she is wearing that green dress again

As long as she is winning I won't get bothered by her attire. Unless she starts dressing like Amy Frazier. That would be totally unacceptable.
