Question

How do you pronounce her name?

I was watching the match when she was against Justine and the commentators were pronouncing her name. The guy said it was go-low-ven, the lady said it was go-low-von.

How do you pronounce her name really?

Maria Sharapova | "Have you met my good friend Maria?"
Tatiana Golovin | "'lovin" the other opponents

In French, it should be something like go-low-veen (end like in "green")

if you pronounce it go-low-veen shouldn't the name be spelled Golovine?

well it's a Russian name for a French girl, and it's mostly pronounced in English
I even think that Tati changes the way she says her name depending on what language she speaks

Golovin is a Russian name. Therefore it should be pronounced "golovEEN" (as in Safin), not "golovAN" as though it were French.

At Birmingham 2004, the umpires said "golovAN". At Birmingham 2005 they said "golovEEN".

in theory yes, but since Tati is French, the French pronounciation would also be correct.
