Svetlana's tough; I'm not at all surprised Amélie dropped a set, especially with her second set walkabouts she's wellknown for. I'm just pleased she was able to pick it up and pull through with a win.

Alicia is gonna be a huge challenge tomorrow.

GO GO MAURESMO!

Are momo or svetlana friends with ASV? I just saw the match not live of course but she was watching the match, think she was supporting momo cause Svetlana had her group a pretty blond woman amongst them, say no more.

Svetlana and ASV played dubs and I thought they were friends. I'd guess that she was supporting Svetlana but hope I'm wrong.

Sveta and ASV are friends, I believe. Didn't Sveta train with Emilio Sanchez? They did play doubles together for a while, though ASV and Momo played doubles for a bit, too. It's a small world

And another from a prior match I don't think we've seen yet...

Thanks for clearing that up Linnie and Sonja, they just kept cutting to Svetlana's group in the final set, Lina and the rest of the girls she has around her and then to ASV, so I thought ASV was supporting momo.
The funny thing was though at the start of the third set Svetlana went off to change, but she was wearing a white skirt and top and then came back in a tight red top, with no logo on it (the sort of top us gay guys wear) and a pair of white shorts, it was not a flattering look on her don't know if she has some sort supersticion, but it did not work she was knackered in that final set momo was just to strong.

hello everyone!

as for ASV i read in today's l'equipe (if i understood ok) that Arantxa has been coaching Sveta for a while and that's why she played a bit of a spanish style yesterday and that MOMO had some problems with getting used to that spanish rhythm but luckily she did it

'...moins en jambes que les jours precedents, irreguliere au service, la Francaise eu un mal fou a se depetrer d'un jeu adverse <a l'espagnole>, coache par une experte, Arantxa Sanchez..'
