Maybe a silly question....is their a next in list?

I know this sounds odd but worst case scenario and if anyone does withdrew(eg the ill Henin or injured Williams/Matevzic) will thier just be byes or is thier a next in list? I would imagine this would be harder than normal b'c he event is so huge.
I can imagine in singles, maybe players that are only in doubles would be next in.
As for doubles teams...not sure.

If anyone could help out it would be most appreciated.

Maybe? I mean, I don't think players would withdraw late...If they are injured, they are injured.

Oh, no. Maybe I'm lying. If you get injured, I heard somewhere that your next in for your country can play for you. If Venus gets injured, then Zina can get Lindsay.

There are substitutes for each team. For Russia next in is Vera Zvonareva.

Lindsay wasn't interested in entering the olympics, otherwise she would have been in the selection. The subsitute for the USA in singles would be Lisa Raymond and in doubles probably Chanda Rubin.
