Doubnle olympics tennis way more interesting then singles

isnt the double draw super interesting, so many good teams
Probably cause you got some super singles players teaming together
Some super doubles players that normally dont play together
Some good doubles teams on the wta
And some nice outsiders that could all have a decent medal (Gold )medal chance.
Super singles: williams/williams, mauresmo/pierce, dementieva/myskina
Super doubles:kuznetsona/likhovtseva, martinez/ruano, sugiyama/asagoe, tarabini/suarez,hantuchova/husarova, molik/stubbs
Good doubles wta: navratilova/raymond, farina/schiavone
Outsider: kostanic/sprem, dechy/testud

Also cause last olympics, the gold went to great singles: williams/williams
doubles wta: Oremans/Boogert won silver ,bronze: super doubles Zvereva/Barabanschikova and outsiders appelmans/v. Roost

I think there is only ONE bronze medal and Zvereva didn´t win a medal THIS time. She won one with Meshki years ago, right ?

Yeah you are right, i meant semi-finalists and that zvereva was with barab.
They lost the match for bronze though, forgot about that!

doubles wta: Oremans/Boogert
What are you saying here? That they regularly teamed up or just that they are two WTA players playing doubles? Because doubles players are also WTA players

Oh really never heart of that

On the wta tour, oremans and boogert were a team most of the time throughout the season, just like raymond/navratilova this year.

Ofcourse everyone that plays doubles at the olympics is a wta-tour player, so that makes 2 wta tour players playing double(as you said)

Pfff you weren't the first in line when God handed out some intelligence, were you?. (Relative of Jennifer Capriati maybe )

In 2000 the bronze went to Callens / Van Roost.
