Pin d. Bartoli 63 57 62
Camille is a wall. She is so fast. Marion had troubles hitting winners because Camille got every ball back. She basically controlled the match as a result. She was up 63 52 before she got nervous and made some stupid mistakes. She started playing well in the 3rd set again and won easily. Marion though was suffering from a thigh injury. I took a break after this match since it lasted more than 2 and a half hours and I saw Marion crying with her dad by the beach.

I sadly didn't see any of this match, since I was watching Nicole v. Marissa.

WOW - what a match. Nicole and Marissa played really, really well. Nicole was just a bit stronger and hit more winners, and her serve helped her out again. I feel that if Marissa changed the pace of the ball more, like hit more slices, she could've won, but she decided to be aggressive as well. Nicole lost a 75 42 lead, but she re-grouped nicely in the 3rd set to lead 75 46 52, and she started to choke again losing 5 match points. At 75 46 54, Marissa was leading 00:15 and she received a bad call which would've given her a 00:30 lead. Instead, it went to 15:15 and Nicole hit three great serves to win the match.
Sequera d. Castellvi 61 75
Milagros was up 61 50 before everything started to go wrong for her. She lost 10 match points before Vilmarie tied it up at 61 55. Milagros though finally was able to close it out in the next two games. Milagros played really well though, attacking the net at the right time, changing the pace of the ball, and mixing in a few angles. Vilmarie though started to keep the ball in play, which worked perfectly since Milagros began lose to her patience, and she had a chance of winning it. Good match by both.
