The tie break should be replayed.

This is too importatnt a match for a sleeping umpire to give away. Sprem should win fair and square.

you're right that the umpire made a great mistake ...

but someone should have said him: either Venus (if she would have recognized) or Karolina (if she would have been fair (her reaction was apparent...)).

But a replay is absolutely impossible.

You would have to play all the other matches mucked up by umpires first (AO final 04 included) and then replay all the subsequent matches. As this would leave the players a bit tired you can't allow any replays at all if you couldn't do so in the same circumstances. Even if you made a rule for that match the winner would be horribly disadvantaged for the next round.The umpire's decision is final even when he is innumerate.
