I think Magui could beat Danillidou. Eleni was injured in Birmingham, and has not been playing well. She was making a lot of errors at Birmingham, so there is hope for Magui.
Magui was playing better in Eastbourne (in her singles match) than in Birmingham, but she was still not playing great tennis and Ma Antonia was just too consistent for her, perhaps if Eleni makes more errors and is less consistent, then Magui can win.
If the doubles at Eastbourne is any indication, Magui is starting to play better now. She and Alicia were coming into the net a lot and it was working; they were volleying well and hitting some fantastic winners from the net. Magui was struggling with her serve when it came to important games though, (ie. 5-2 - 1st set, 4-1 and 5-4 - 2nd set).
She's been training really hard at Eastbourne (much harder than in Birmingham when we rarely saw her on a training court) -- she's turning into Cara Black, I'm sure -- so hopefully the hard work will pay off!
