Venus/Vera (This is not a scoring thread)

I'm just giving comments during commercials.

Up a break 2-0, VZ just double-faulted twice in a row to give back the break.

VZ leads 2-1 VW to serve

Thanks, Volcana.

C'mon Venus! Let's get the engine going.

Always on the lookout for a great tennis match.

First problem for Venus: first serve %, it's at 16%

I'm noticing VZ displays frustration a bit.

6-1 Venus-Vera winners.

I'm not watching it, I don't have ESPN (but I'll get it from my contact)

Heh. Understatement of the year. Did you hear about her smashing a hole in the back wall of the court at New Haven, then? The girl is a psycho.

VW is moving in a lot, going to net often. She's three feet inside the baseline on VZ's 2nd serves. W is definitely winning the agression battle early. Z needs to take it to her a bit more.

Question

Who is watching this on TV? I'd like to know how Venus looks and how she is playing.

Venus is playing well...except for the first couple of games. She's smacking forehand winners and return winners!!!

Good, then her forehand is getting better because that is why she lost serve in the first place; forehand errors.
