Tamira played some of her best tennis of her career on outdoor hardcourt !

At WTA Dubai in 2007 she qualified for main draw, beat Top 25 Srebotnik in straight sets and then only lost to #2 Henin 4-6 7-5 6-1 in an amazing match.
Tamira also won her first WTA title at Portoroz in 2006 - an outdoor hardcourt tournament ! As a 15-year-old girl, where she beat Benesova 6-1 6-2.
At WTA Bali in 2008 Tamira reached the final with wins over excellent players like Grönefeld, Errani, Pennetta and Hantuchova, only losing to Schnyder in final.
Tamira also played great tennis at US Open in 2007 where she reached R4, beating Schiavone and Schnyder in fantastic matches, only losing to Chakvetadze.
Other good wins at US Open where in 2008 when Tamira upset Kirilenko and in 2010 when she defeated Safarova, both strong wins over talented players.
Another example how well Tamira can play on outdoor hard is Aus Open 2008 R1 match vs Jankovic. It was a high-quality match. Tamira only lost 2-6 6-2 12-10.

Tamira`s worst surface by far is clay. She only won 1 main draw match in career at FO !

All but one of the examples you cited are from over five years ago. She was essentially a junior then, playing a completely different style of game. She was a much more aggressive player years ago, as most teenagers are. Now, she plays far too passively, losing too may matches because she cannot, or fails to even try dictating points.

Not only that, but picking out one or two tournaments a year where she had a good week to try to prove a point is rather disingenuous.

If you go back and really examine her hardcourt record, you will see that almost all of the time, she has bombed out far short of the expectations raised by those early performances.

Outdoor courts of any surface are difficult for her because of windy conditions, but grass offers her by far the best chance for success because her flat shots and low center of gravity adapt well to it.
