looks nice, could have been better

A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening ear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn.

quite an easy draw for Kim, I guess Schnyder will be the most difficult opponent to play against, at least if she wins her match against Mary.
Dinara Safina has a good chance of reaching the semi-finals.
and Callens can reach again the quarter finals, but it won't be easy I'm afraid. Let's hope she can do it!

QF??? I'd be more than happy if she would beat Loit. Beating Farina, her nemesis, is even more out of the question I think . But then again, if Els has a good day (or 2) she could do it

True, it won't be easy... but I think with the support of her home crowd she can be a very dangerous outsider. The best matches Els played in her carreer are those in the Fed Cup (a total of 23 wins and 8 losses + she defeated Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario in front of a Belgian crowd). The same counts for her quarter-final match against Daniela previous year in Antwerp: Els was outstanding!
Let's go Els! Do it again!
