'toray 2004' what i've seen so far

hello, Im a fan of WTA who lives in tokyo.
n I went to toray qualify n saw participating palyers this weekend, so now Im gonna talk about what i saw there.

friday night, i went to shinjuku n took a pic with tina krizan.
next morning somehow me n my friend successfully sneaked into the shuttle bus to the stadium seemingly only for players n staff n the short bus ride with players was really great!
after leaving the stadium we went to shinjuku again n hung around there.
n we happened to see maria's NEC TV advertisement in some shop there.
The TV ad is really great. we liked it! in it maria looks so cute n i think her acting ability can be seen there. i heard that they would air it jan 31 to mid feb in japan to promote a new NEC laptop.
n this morning when i had breakfast i saw Lindsey, Lisa, Renee around the tournamnet desk. seemed they had just arrived there n i also saw renee giving japanese traditional bow style greetings to the stuff there. after that we headed toward shinjuku station n on our way i saw elena dokic n seemed she was on her way back. i heard that she made a contract with yonex n i already saw her wearing yonex stuff n her pic on a yonex racquet ad with other players such as another elena d n asagoe in the stadium.

that's all for what i've seen so far!

nway i just hope all of the players are enjoying the tounament here in tokyo.
wish all the best to them!

on friday night i went to someplace (so-called official hotel hehe) in shinjuku n saw a lot of players there. They came down for dinner n i took a pic with tina krizan.

Thanks Miyuki Great report. Don't forget to take Tammy's picture if you have chance.

could you give us some short match reports from the matches you have seen? that would be very cool as well

So is Jelena with Yonex or adidas? Or maybe Yonex racquets and adidas apparels.
Thanks for the report by the way.

lol seriously Lindsay, Lisa and Renae at tournament desk - it's as if those three decide to bombard onto a place together at the one time at every tournament <g>

Or as I always say to one of my friends if ever in doubt where Renae and the others are just follow the laughs or the thick loud Aussie accent

hi! to everyone here.
yeah, i will, if i have a chance jiro san.
hi rhythmboy, k, now im talking bout some matches I saw there.
firstlly, tax vs janette: I thouhgt tax would win the match in straight sets. becoz tax played very well n well concentrated in the first set. but after winning the 1st set she took a toilet break n seemed her condition was getting worse since then... n contrary to the situation tax was in, Janette started playing better n she won the last two sets. Dokic was in the stands with Janette's coach to cheer her up n she got so excited when Janeete won some important points.
secondly, Perry vs Okamoto: I think Perry has potential for breaking into the top 100. She served really well in the match n no way for Okamoto to break her seerve...
lastly Rita vs Rika: Rika showed her guts in the second set but didnt play well in the tie-break. Seemed Rita was in good condition n showed various shots which led her opponent to making errors in the both matches she played on sunday.
n yesterday i had the feeling that janette, els, morigami n rita would get through n now
i know my prediction is 50% right. congrats janette n morigami n go els n rita!

ah, i think the contract dokic signed is the same as another elena d did, like yonex outfit, racquet n shoes, im not 100% sure though.

Tell us more about Dokic please! Everything! All the details

Did you see her practice? What was her attitude like when she was watching Husarova?

Sorry I'm such a pain in the ass but I miss Dokic, it's been a while since she played a tournament
