Re: Fed Cup 2013

Because she is in Australia. How could she now come back only for Fed Cup.

Re: Fed Cup 2013

She would be (savic)great to play singles, I'm afraid Ana's not experienced enough. We really need Lucic or Savic in team now. But it wont happen.

Re: Fed Cup 2013

Savic would be great for our team, shame that she won't play but she had that Australia tour planned long time ago. She probably didn't had any hope about Fed cup and that happened Ankara.

She will probably play in next occasion and I'm really looking forward for it.

Vekic and Konjuh are really talented, Savic looks very promising, Ajla is back and of course, Petra is our top player and she can do a lot when she is healthy.

We will be so strong in two-three years

Re: Fed Cup 2013

The goal now is anyway to win the GROUP A which is totally possible even without Petra right now.

Re: Fed Cup 2013

So far in Fed cup we're leading h2h against Austria 2:1, also leading against Georgia 1:0 but we trail Belarus 1:2. Of course, this includes ties played 15 or more years ago with completely different player fields, but it's still official info. Also, we played in the group against Austria and Belarus exactly 2 years ago, when we defeated Austria 3:0 and lost to Belarus with the same scoreline.

P. S. Govortsova and Martic still listed on the FC website...

Re: Fed Cup 2013

Austria will be problematical with Meusburger and Mayr. If Tomljanovic was in the team we would surely make it.

There is no big dangers in the group the players can all win. Will Martic play? Do the fed update so often or are teams wait until the last moment. I might be wrong for Govortsova, now to kill someone

Re: Fed Cup 2013

A few hours ago Croatian tennis (FB) posted that the most probable replacement for Martic is Jurak. They're probably just guessing, but who knows.

Re: Fed Cup 2013

Yes, Majoli confirmed it a couple days ago.
