4-6 6-4 6-2 Rebecca SRAMKOVA (SVK)
6-4 1-6 7-5 Irina RAMIALISON (FRA)
7-6(3) 6-0 Akgul AMANMURADOVA (UZB)
2-6 7-6(5) 7-5 Ekaterina ALEXANDROVA (RUS)

Petra lead 5-1 in the final set of that last match and choked 5 games away. :hysteric: She made it so difficult to follow!

She will face [1] Barbora Krejcikova who she beat in the semi finals last year 4 and 2. It's obvious they have both gone different ways since then.

Krejcikova has been breezing through her matches in straight sets not facing any seed and her SF was her only test.

She spent only 6 minutes less than Petra on court, but Petra has had three three-setters; don't think she has enough left in the tank for this one.

Good luck anyway, at least she made the trophy ceremony.

I think she has found the way to win again, anyway! She might have choked couple of games but still won in the end -to my eyes her situation has improved a lot because of Wimbledon and Olomouc even if she loses tomorrow! (How could she choke five games from 5-1 if the end result is 7-5? ;) )
And our beloved Petra looks as stunning as ever! :hearts:

Into the final of 75k Sobota/Rokoietnica

:cheer:

That last match was so desperately close. Obviously that girl is underranked if she was able to take out Vaidisova and now almost Petra but only ranked in the 400s.

Ostapenko in the final, she is an 18 year old uprising newbie who dragged Carla at Wimbledon. Definitely going to be hard.
The thing going in Petra's favour is that Ostapenko retired with an injury two weeks ago and that she's been playing doubles this week and lost in the final.

Anyhoo, with this final Petra will rise to around #180 in the rankings which is a quick return into Top 200 after dropping out. She will rise to around #150 if she wins the whole thing.
