As far as I know, Sonya won't be retiring. Her doubles ranking is still around the 100 mark, so hopefully she can be a bit more consistent this season and push it up a notch. I'd also like to see her concentrate a bit more on singles. She had some nice wins indoors this past fall and showed that she can still play singles with top 100 players so I think she should keep at it and try and bring her ranking up at least where she can get into slam qualifying.
I'd really like to see Sonya and Melanie make it into the doubles for the Olympics but I'm not sure whether Melanie would be eligible or not. She hasn't played Fed Cup but that doesn't mean she didn't make herself available to play either so who knows. It'd be nice to see them there.
"Religion has actually convinced people that there is an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. Any if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time!
But he loves you."
