Re: Caroline Garcia

amazing level of play from "the new caroline" during this fed cup tie, wow she impressed me by her maturity and yes mental strengh

I ve been tough towards her cause I knew she could so MUCH better than what she showed some months ago, now she 's just another player with her win over eugenie bouchard and win title at Bogota.

She showed more in fed cup than any experienced player , winning the tie by herself, she was so fierce and consistent in such an important moment of a career, first big selection and a chance to get France back to the world group

Very Very big week end for her wich will give her so much more confidence before the european claycurt season. She ll make a return at Madrid Open

First thing first, hope Caroline finish inside top 20 at the end of 2014.

Caroline's turnaround reminds me a bit of Halep who also wasn't able to get her game together for a long time, despite her talent. In case she has now sustainably improved her mindset (it looks like that) she can easily become a TOP-10 player with the potential of winning big tournaments. But that of course will take some time.

We have to wait and see, but i am very optimistic.

Barthel ~ Martic ~ Muguruza ~ Garcia ~ Konjuh ~ Kasatkina
Sevastova Hampton Kerber Pervushina Potapova Rybakina Mladenovic Gasparyan

Caroline is 20. She has a good chance to break out earlier than Halep, who had her breakthrough 2013 when she was 21-22 years old.

Caroline has all the tools; serves, ground strokes, net games; you name it. It will be intriguing to see how the rest of 2014 plays out for her.
