An opportunity missed by ESPN

They say they want to build the audience for the Australian Open. Well, tonight they had a chance to make a crossover with the college basketball game. They had a couple of promos for the Oz coverage "coming up next" as the basketball game, naturally, ran over. As fate would have it, they were carrying a game featuring the Florida Gators, AND a former Gator, Lisa Raymond, was in the upcoming quarterfinal matches. They knew they would be carrying Lisa's match before the basketball game started. They could easily have had a promo written up stating that the upcoming quarterfinal coverage included the former Gator, Raymond, and perhaps drawn a few U of Florida fans. Someone wasn't alert.

Oh, and it should come as no surprise that they misspelled the name of Patty's husband.
