Wednesday's Schedule

At this moment it looks like Lindsay will be first up @ 10am most likely on an outside Court unless they will be changing their Centre Court schedule to start an hour earlier.

Well the match is scheduled for 10am - and usually Centre court starts at 11am.

So unless for some reason they're shifting all the matches forward tomorrow gives me the feeling that it'll be shifted to an outside court.

I personally hope the website got it wrong and she's playing at night but that's another story

Clijsters has withdrawn from AI

ETA: Still trying to find out if she'll be replaced by a LL or if Smashnova-Pistolesi will get a W/O - it should technically be a LL.

INJURED world No.2 Kim Clijsters today withdrew from the adidas International in Sydney, leaving her Australian Open hopes in tatters.

Clijsters was forced to withdraw from last week's Hopman Cup in Perth after bruising her ankle bone and the injury flared up again after a 20-minute practice session at Olympic Park today.

"I've decided I'm not going to be able to gie 100 per cent. It's definitely not an easy decision," Clijsters said when announcing her withdrawal.

The 20-year-old Belgian refused to put a percentage on her chances of taking her place in the Australian Open draw next week.

"I have to think about my future as well, make sure it doesn't become a chronic injury and (make sure I) get on top of it." Clijsters will have two full days off practice and said she would not contest the year's first grand slam if sh wasn't 100 per cent fit.

Not sure I suppose we'll find out when the Schedule is released tomorrow - if Smashnova isn't there then we know she is in automatically.

Of course this might be a good reason to move Lindsay's match now to night

Look above - I just think one of those outside court ones could have gone to the night match on Centre Court.

Well I'd rather see Davenport or Mauresmo over Myskina on CC @ Night.
