"Liftolook hahha #elevator #porto #finallyhome"

"Good morning :):)#workout #porto #tennis #buchik #pom"

"And again after practice...#workout #adidas #porto #sprints"

"Someone is ready for practice session!!! #pom #boo #buchik #tennis #HEAD #porto"

And the latest one, from today:

"London,here I come! #porto #london #tennis #HEAD"

She's looking as :hearts: as ever, but I don't think I'll get over the ubiquitous fugly puppy. :hysteric: :tears:

Woking 25K

QR1 (1)Valeria Savinykh (RUS) d. Jessica Simpson (GBR) 62 62
QFR (1)Valeria Savinykh (RUS) d. (15)Lucy Brown (GBR) 60 61

Again no problems in qualifying :cheer:. Now please, draw one of the top seeds!

(maybe that will help)

Of course she did :oh:

Again a good battle from Lera, but she lost in 2 tiebreaks :(. Better luck next time again, I guess.

Unnoticed, but Lera played this week in Barnstaple 25K. Best draw in weeks, an unseeded player, Jegiolka of Poland, but it did not help . She lost 16 67. More luck next week in 25K in Batumi, Georgia.

Lera playing Batumi 25K and plays qualifier Kutubidze of Georgia first round, who barely has a ranking. If she doesn't win this......:scared:

She won

Lera won 61 60, first MD win since months. Very glad she finally won again. Keep going Lera :yeah:

Another win :woohoo:

Rnd 2 Valeria Savinykh (RUS) d. (JE)Darya Kasatkina (RUS) 64 36 75

Great win on one of the rising stars in Russian tennis. Now she plays first seed Mestach in QF, will be though. Good lick, Lera :yeah:

Batumi 25K

QF (1) An-Sophie Mestach (BEL) d. Valeria Savinykh (RUS) 75 63

But finally a good week again, next week again in Georgia for Telavi 25K

QR2 (6)Valeria Savinykh (RUS) d. (14)Kim-Alice Grajdek (GER) 61 61

In MD she drew Laura Pous-Tio of Spain, who won a Mexican 25K event this weekend. Good luck, Lera :yeah:

Rnd 1 (Q)Valeria Savinykh (RUS) d. (SE)Laura Pous-Tio (ESP) 64 62 :woohoo:

Quite a good win for Lera, as Pous-Tio was in good shape last week. Next match against 2nd seed Duque-Marino. Her quarter isn;t easy anyway, good luck, Lera :yeah:

And she won the 3rd set 63 :woohoo: :bounce:. Amazing win, in QF now against resurrected Katya Bondarenko.

Did you finish watching the match, Gigi, was it any good?

#1,294 ·
No, tbh I was quite tired and kinda gave up at the beginning of the deciding set as it was getting late... I didn't watch the match very closely but from what I saw in the first 2 sets I didn't find it was a good match, and Lera was really annoyed at herself and her bad misses. Also, MDM was annoying, and her fans as well. I guess I missed the best part of the match eventually... :sobbing:

Hope the QF match vs. Katya will be streamed :hearts: :cheer:

Lera ate 2 breadsticks against Bondarenko 16 16 :scared:

But she probably tanked this :)oh:), as she is already on schedule for her QD at the 50K in Monterrey. Her section:

(4)Petra Krejsova (CZE) v BYE
Denise Muresan (USA) v Paula Badosa Gibert (ESP)
Chantal Skamlova (SVK) v Szabina Szlavikovics (HUN)
(7)Valeria Savinykh (RUS) v BYE

BYE cannot be underestimated, Good luck, Lera :yeah: ;)
