Thanks CB! I'd be pleased with 5 wins in 7 first round mathces. Anything less would be dissapointing!

'Anna Kournikova (RUS) vs. Christina Wheeler WC (AUS)'
I'd expect Kournikova to win this, but thats only because I have no idea who Wheeler is.

'Anastasia Myskina(RUS) vs. Qualifier'
I'd expect Ana to beat whoever came through the qualifiers, because she's playing very well ATM.

'Elena Likhovtseva (RUS) vs. Fabiola Zuluaga (COL)'
I don't know too much about Zuluaga, but maybe Likhovtseva will be too good? Like I said though, I'm not sure.

'Elena Bovina (RUS) vs. Silvia Farina Elia [9] (ITA)'
I'd love Bovina to win, but I think Farina-Elia will take this in 2 close sets.

'Elena Dementieva (RUS) vs. Adriana Gersi (CZE)'
Depending on her injury status, I'd expect Elena to demolish Gersi, but Elena has a nasty habbit of losing to people she should be easily.

'Tatiana Panova (RUS) vs. Seda Noorlander (NED)'
I don't know alot about Noorlander, but I'd expect Panova to win.

'Alina Jidkova (RUS) vs. Wynne Prakusya (INA)'
Honestly, I don't know anything about either player. I've seen Prakusya in a couple of draws and getting a couple of wins this year, but I don't know how well either of them has done.

Like CAT, I predict 5 will go through.

Good luck Ladies at Roland Garros. I have a great feeling they will all do well.
The only "iffy" one IMO might be the Elena B./Farina Elia match but I think Elena will give Silvia a tough time. Sure wish we knew already who Nastya is playing.

Davenport, Capriati, Molik, Golovin, Seles, Clijsters, Myskina, Dementieva, Groenefeld, Frazier, Sprem, Hantuchova, Peschke, Dulko, Ivanovic, Smashnova, Likhovtseva, Vaidisova, Zvonereva, Schiavone, Pennetta

I believe Maria may be playing Barbara Schwartz. Babsi Schett does not need to be playing someone she has never faced (I think) with so many points to defend and her inconsistency.

Come on Nina! Be realistic! Six out of nine would be fine! Hey, I'm a poet!

They've all got OK first round draws... apart from Elena L, as Fabiola's playing quite well right now, and Maria G - I think Schwartz will be too strong. I'm expecting six out of nine definitely, and hoping for seven out of nine if Silvia's tired from Strasbourg.
