I wonder if I as Canadian enter into a pub in Russia wearing "Canada" on the top, would people treat me normally as they would to Russians people? Or Would I be a huge threat?

People from Russia answers to question about life in Russia in general... some are interesting to learn what they have to say...

http://www.waytorussia.net/Features/RussianPeople.html

Boy, they hardly make money from work. No pension plans... And how can they afford to subscribe to have access internet in Russia... I am sure some of posters from Russia can answer to this.

I want to learn more and more about life in Russia.

i don't think they'd view canadians as a threat.... (except for the fact that we get more marijuana up in canada... heheheh... )

Remember Sharky, we're going to travel together to Russia someday.

I'm planning to learn Russian too. I just got the july 2004 issue of Tennis + and I can't read it. The issue has Wimbledon champion Maria Sharapova on the cover and it has a feature on Elena Dementieva and Anastasia Myskina being friends. And the magazine has photos of Elena and Anastasia together through the years. The photos of Elena and Ana are absolutely wonderful!

Happiness is like a cat. If you try to coax it or call it, it will avoid you. It will never come. But if you pay no attention to it and go about your business, you'll find it rubbing up against your legs and jumping into your lap. - William Bennett

I'll post some of my pics from Russia when I get back to Australia next week.

I'm going to do a lot of research about Russia in the coming weeks/months because I'm trying to find out how realistic it would be to do my PhD in Moscow next year.

Петрова ~ Клейбанова
Сафина ~ Кириленко
