Will Golovin ever play for Russia?

Does anyone think its possible that Golovin could start playing for Russia? I think she should read what Nastya said after RG about Russia being a great country and feeling proud to play for it! Golvin must be convinced!

She's in the French Fed Cup team already. I talked with her during RG. She speaks Russian maybe even worse than I speak French, she doesn't know anything about Russia and she said that she is French. So no chance.

Nyet. Tatiana moved to France when she was only 8 months old so she is rightfully a French citizen. Her parents and 2 older sisters were born in Russia and they speak Russian in their house so Russia is a part of her life even if it is only the language. As far as tennis goes France needs Tatiana more than Russia does.
