Coming off a great year in 2003, I think Paola will continue her form and start 2004 with two wins in Auckland and Canberra respectively. Then hopefully a big run to the finals of the Australian Open will lauch her into the Top 10. She hasn't got much to defend before Vienna so who knows with her skill on clay Suarez could get enough points to get as high as 7 or 8. However she has well over one thousand points to defend on the US and Canadian Hardcourts. Paola's flowing groundies make her one of the best players to watch. Those groundstokes, coupled with her volleying prowess and doubles courtcraft, make her easily capable of a Top Ten birth. If only she improved that serve, I think the Top 5 wouldn't be out of the question. Look out for Paola at the French.
