Ai is in Gold Coast
She's going to play against Wildcard Sophie Ferguson in the first round I heard!

Hantuchova/Sugiyama def. (1) Black/Huber 6-7(0) 6-3 7-6(10) saving SEVEN match points, down 2-5 in the third, and down 2-6 in the third set tiebreak in three hours

Whoever is semifinalist out of this section should take the cake as far as I'm concerned
I wish Ai luck I hope the start of the season is as good as can be

Ai OWNS Stosur, it's a good match up because after the serve which Ai returns well, Stosur isn't that great.

At least Ai fought hard. Her serve was just not cooperating at all. it's usually very difficult to win a match with 11 double faults. Hopefully she will play much better in Sydney.

Ai plays Galina Voskoboeva in round 1 of quallies. They have never played before. Galina is tall and with a big serve I seem to recall but struggles with low balls with her height. Hopefully Ai can do well
