Ai goes to the Olympics!

From her website:

March 24, 2004
To me, participating the Olympic games is as important as the other GS tournaments. The biggest difference is the atomosphere. The players are the same and tough, but coaching and other staff are different.
To enjoy at the olympics, I'd need enough preparations. I belive that playing my best there is a big chance for me.

I won't give up til the end, so please cheer me up there.
Thank you.

Ai Sugiyama

This makes up a little for Ai's disappointing performance in Miami.

who is she pairing up for doubles? Nana Miyagi? or Shinobu with higher ranking?
strangely not a lot of players are specifically preparing for Olympics, esp doubles,
either they are over-confident, or they just plainly dont care

Ai will focus on the Olympics, so she won't play for FEDCUP against Bulgaria this year.

Will Ai be playing singles and doubles at the Olympics, or only singles?
